What To Do: Amenities

Kynance Cove

Arguably the most beautiful beach in the U.K. Kynance cove is down west near Lizard point. Its a world heritage site and is a bit of a trek but well worth it. Stunning turquoise blue warm sea, rolling in on soft white sand. There's a little cafe just up from the beach that has a selection of fresh cakes and scones making it a wonderful day out. just over an hours drive but it is sensational.

Treloy Golf Club

Directly behind our site is a fantastic parkland 9 hole Golf course which is literally over the hedge. It is very reasonably priced to play a round and it is a very pretty, picturesque, tree lined challenging course. It also has a driving range if you are a little rusty and just want to work on your long tee shots before tackling the main course. Either way, it is so close and extremely convenient if you love to swing the clubs

Fistral Beach

Benn Park Caravan Site is only a stones throw from our beautiful coastline and Newquay Porth beach is our closest at only 1.2miles. Venture a little further to the other side of Newquay and you will find the legendary Fistral beach. An amazing sandy beach that spreads 750mts wide, with the swell from the atlantic ocean producing some of the best waves, it truly is a surfers paradise. only 10 minutes drive from us it is a must see.

The Lake

Great for a walk, maybe with the dog.

About a 15 minute walk downhill through our fields and you reach this glorious little sun trap, our lake. Its a challenge to walk back up the hill though. It's loaded with fish and wildlife, including our seasonal returning wild canadian geese and ducks. We aim to put a fenced walking track down for our guests. watch this space but unfortunately at the moment its closed.

The Farm & Views

If you love airplanes, the views from our site will definitely be
your cup of tea.

We still run a working farm that rotates between livestock and grass pasture. The rolling fields of neighbouring farms go on for miles until you can see the Atlantic sea on the horizon. Newquay airport is part of RAF St.Mawgan and runs alongside our location. Luckily the flight path doesn't cause us any noise problems, only the occasional air ambulance passing over head.
